Description

The main goal of the Ytem scanning app is to detect how many specific items with RFID tags are inside a determined area. The app has to be connected to a handheld RFID reader and trigger the reader to start using the app.

Meaningful experiences

The mobile app connects to a handheld, which helps to scan different items in a retail store. All that information is stored in a database that is represented in graphic tables for the end-user.

UI/UX

I decided to use a dark UI to make it easier to visualize the scanned items. The dark UI also matched the company's main brand and its logo system.The UX design aimed to make the inventory of a store in seconds, using ML and blockchain.

Suitable User Interface

Prototype

We created a prototype recreating the main steps of the application development. I decided to use After Effects for the animations.

Parcel Tracking

We wanted to show the most relevant information for the delivery process.

Calendar

After some user testing, we understand that the user is more focused on the parcel arrival date versus how many packages they ordered, that’s why we decide to use a calendar as the main screen.

Send

The send experience was the part where we need to excel.

We figure out that many users don't know where they can deliver their parcels, so having a screen where we show the different delivery spots is very helpful for the end-users.

Design

Having a consistent design between the app and the package improves brand recognition for the company.

Brand Identity

This was one of the avant-garde logos that I made. I wanted to symbolize the world with an explosion of packages. At the same time, I wanted to represent organized chaos. The logo was made in Cinema 4D.
